THE VISIT LASTED THREE DAYS AND INCLUDE ADD 3-MEMBER VISITING COMMITTEE. DURING THE VISIT, THE TEAM VISIT WOULD CLASSROOMS AND MET SEPARATE GROUPS OF STAKE HOLDER, INCLUDING TEACHERS, SCHOOL SUPPORT STAFF AND DISTRICT LEADERSHIP. A FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOP, A MOORE PARK COLLEGE APPLICATION WORKSHOP AND A LIFE SKILLS GUEST SPEAKER WHO PRESENTED CREDIT, WHAT IS IT AND WHY IT MATTERS. FIELD TRIP WILL BE ON MARCH THE 9TH AND YOUTH EMPOWERMENT ON MARCH 25TH. I'M PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE WITH THE HELP OF COUNSELOR MRS. CANER AND MRS. OUR THEATER DEPARTMENT'S IMPROVE, MYSTERY DINNER THEATER PERFORMANCE OF STAGE COACH TO DEATH PERFORMED SHOWS FROM THE 10TH TO THE 11TH, WHERE THE AUDIENCE GOT TO ENJOY DINNER OF MEAT, CHEESE, AND MURDER MYSTERY SHOWS. AND, OUR RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS CLUB DID DIGITAL VALENTINES GRAMS. AT LUNCH WE HELD A LUNCHTIME ACTIVITY CALLED DON'T MISS A BEAT WHERE STUDENT HIGH SCHOOL TO GET THE LYRICS CORRECT OF A LOVE SONG OR THEY WERE SPRAYED WITH SILLY STRING. THE PERSON WHO GOT THE LYRICS CORRECT GOT A VALENTINES PRIZE OF CARNATIONS AND FLOWERS. SPREAD VALENTINE'S DAY CHEER. THIS WEEK, ASG AND ORB INTERNATIONAL BLACK LURETTE OPPORTUNITIES ARE WORKING TO GET TO CELEBRATE. CULTURE CLUBS ON CAMPUS TO HONOR DIFFERENT CULTURES THROUGHOUT FOODS AND PRACTICES. WE'LL BE HOLDING AN AN NEWLY ART'S SHOW IN THE CAFETERIA.

THE BAND CONCERT IS MARCH 9TH FROM 7-9:00 P.M. AND WE HOST OUR JAZZ BAND FESTIVAL FROM THE 17TH TO THE 19TH. THEATER WILL BE PERFORMING THE SPRING PLAY OF ALMOST MAY IN THE PER PERFORMING ARTS CENTER. THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY WAS FUN AND EXCITING FOR THOUSAND OBSERVATION HIGH SCHOOL IN OUR WORLD OF ATHLETICS WE HAD MANY SPORTS MAKE IT TO THE PLAYOFFS, GIRL'S WATER POLO, BOY'S BASKETBALL, AND OUR WRESTLING TEAM. WE PLACED THIRD AT THE SOUTHERN TOURNAMENT IN PALM SPRINGS AND BECAME THE FIRST TO QUALIFY IN THE CHAMPIONSHIPS. THEY PLACED SECOND PLACE AS A TEAM. THE TEAM AS A WHOLE BROUGHT IN A TOTAL OF 250 MEDALS. THERE WERE TWO MVPS AT THE COMPETITION AND BRYSON EARNED THE HIGHEST SCORE ON THE TEAM. WE WANT TO CONGRATULATE OUR NATIONAL MERIT FINAL LISTS. THOUSAND OAKS HIGH SCHOOL. STUDENTS WHO A THOUSAND OAKS HIGH SCHOOL VALENTINE'S DAY WAS A DAY TO REMEMBER AT THOUSAND OAKS HIGH SCHOOL, EVERYBODY ON CAMPUS HAD A SMILE ON THEIR FACE. THE DAY STARTED WITH WALKING INTO THE MAIN QUIT DECORATED WITH BALLOONS AND WE HAD A RED AND WHITE PUPPY WITH A HEART THAT SAID BE MY VALENTINE. THERE WERE TWO GREAT GAMES. THERE WAS GREAT ATHLETICISM BY ALL PLAYERS AND GREAT PLAYS WERE MADE. THE CROWD WENT WILD FOR EVERY POINT MADE. EVERYONE PRESENT IN THE GYM HAD A BLAST.

HOWEVER, WE WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT THOUSAND OAKS HIGH SCHOOL WON WITH A SCORE OF 44-39, GO LANCERS. ON FEBRUARY 14TH, WE CONTINUED THE FESTIVITIES BY ASB DELIVERING THE VALENTINE'S DAY GRAMS TO STUDENTS. AND ASB HOSTS AN INCREDIBLE LUNCH RALLY.

STUDENTS HAD THE OPPORTUNITIES TO GET SCANNED FOR FIVE STAR AND GET POINTS, SPIN THE WHEEL FOR A PRIZE, GET CANDY AND PARTICIPATE IN RALLY GAMES. WE HAD WINNERS IN THE WATER BALLOON TOSS AND HOOLAHOOP. THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY ALSO MARKS BLACK HISTORY MONTH. WE HAD MUSIC ON FRIDAYS, CLASS ANNOUNCEMENTS, AND SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS. THOUSAND OAKS HIGH SCHOOL HOSTED SHINE ONE CENTER. IT WAS A GREAT EVENT OPEN FOR EVERYONE IN THE COMMUNITY. A LOT OF TALENT AND POWERFUL INDIVIDUALS IN THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN COMMUNITY WERE HIGHLIGHT THE. THIS WEEK WE'RE HOSTING A DRIVE FOR HARBOR HOUSE AND THE HOMELESS. NON-PROFIT THAT IS FOCUSED ON CARING FOR THE UNHOUSED AND VULNERABLE POPULATIONS IN THE CONEJO VALLEY. THE CLASS THAT DONATES THE MOST SOCKS BY MARCH 2ND, RECEIVES A PIZZA PARTY DURING FOURTH PERIOD. ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO GET INVOLVED AND DONATE CLEAN SOCKS AS THIS IS AN EASY IMPACTFUL WAY TO GET KIDS INVOLVE IN SERVICE. THEY SHARED SOLUTIONS TO CHALLENGES AND THEY WERE WILL TO GO ENGAGE OPENLY AND HONESTLY ON THE VARIETY OF TOPICS. AND LAST WEEK I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND THE CVHS STUDENT ADVISORY COUNCIL, I THINK THAT'S WHAT THEY CALL IT. AND I WALKED AWAY WITH THE SAME KINDS OF IMPRESSIONS OF THESE YOUNG PEOPLE. AND IT IS WELL-ORGANIZED AND THEY TAKE IT VERY SERIOUS, AND AS THE STUDENTS LEAVE, ONCE THE BELL RINGS, THEY MAKE SURE THAT THE STADIUM IS CLEAN THAT THE FIELD IS CLEAN THEY KNOW THAT THEY WANT TO MAKE EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO CONTINUE TO PLAY.

SO, FOR ME, THAT WAS LIKE, AMAZING TO SEE THE WORK THAT GOES INTO THIS BY OUR KIDS. THE BIGGEST TAKE AWAY IS THE 8.13% COLA, ALL OTHER PROGRAM ARE PROJECTED TO CONTINUE, THE EXPANSION AND UNIVERSAL MEALS FOR ALL STUDENTS. THERE'S A ROW POSED CUT TO THE ART, MUSIC DISCRETIONARY BLOCK GRANT WHICH WILL ELIMINATE THE FUNDING AVAILABLE FOR POTENTIALLY RISING PENSION COSTS. THERE IS SOME TALK OF CONVERSATIONS GOING ON

FOR US, WE'RE LOOKING AT A 50% CUT IT'S ROUGHLY, $4 MILLION. OF ONE-TIME DOLLARS. FIRST TIME IN A LOT OF YEARS, WE DON'T HAVE A LOT OF NEW ONE-TIME FUNDS. WE'RE OUT OF THE COVID STIMULUS ERA. THE STATE REVENUES OVER A GROWTH PERIOD IS OVER. THEY'RE RIGHT NOW AT $30 BILLION LOWER THAN WHAT THE BUDGET PROJECTION WAS FORECAST AT THE STATE LEVEL. HOWEVER, THE LABOR MARKET CONTINUES TO BE STRONG, BUT, WAGE GROWTH IS SLOWER THAN EXPECTED AND THE FED RESERVE POLICIES WHICH GET ALL THE PRESS THESE DAYS REALLY LEAD TO THE STOCK MARKET VOLATILITY AND IT'S A BIG IMPACT OR THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA WHICH ARE PERSONAL INCOME TAX, SALES TAX, AND CORPORATE TAXES. THIS IS VERY, UNEVENTFUL, THERE'S NO SIGNIFICANT CHANGES TO REPORT WHERE WE ARE BETWEEN FIRST AND SECOND INTERIM. SO, MINOR MODIFICATIONS. THESE ARE UNRESTRICTED COLLARS FOR REVENUES AND EXPENSES AND YOU COULD SEE THE PLUS-MINUS NET ARE SIGNIFICANT CONSIDERING WE'RE LOOKING AT $174 MILLION.
